Singapore GP: The Iconic Night Race Returns

The Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix is set to illuminate the night sky once again on October 5, 2025, marking the 18th race of the Formula 1 season. The race weekend will run from October 3-5.

The qualifying session is scheduled for Saturday, October 4, at 14:00 BST, while the main race will commence on Sunday, October 5, at 13:00 BST.

The Marina Bay Circuit stands as one of the most physically demanding tracks on the calendar. The bumpy street surface combined with humid conditions presents a significant challenge for drivers. Following a 2023 layout modification that reduced the number of corners from 23 to 19, drivers still face intense physical demands, potentially losing up to 3kg in body weight during a single race.

The Marina Bay Circuit made its debut in 2008, designed initially by Herman Tilke and refined by KBR Inc. It quickly established itself as a standout venue on the F1 calendar, notably hosting Formula 1’s first-ever night race.
