Channel 7 has officially confirmed the return of My Kitchen Rules for 2025, with the 15th season set to premiere on Monday, 1 September at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.

The new season promises to deliver more than just culinary excellence, welcoming viewers into real people’s homes with unforgettable flavours, authentic stories, and the signature drama that fans have come to expect.

Meet the Competition

The 2025 season features six teams, each bringing their own unique blend of personalities, backstories, and recipes. Among the standout contestants are:

Anne and Maree, a mother-daughter duo whose decade-long dream of competing on MKR has finally come true. They’ll be showcasing their Greek heritage through cherished family recipes passed down through generations in a handwritten cookbook from their Yia-yia.

South Australian duo Maria and Bailey are bringing their boardroom ambition to the kitchen. As high-achieving professionals – Maria running her own business while Bailey manages five companies – they’re approaching the competition with corporate-level determination, openly declaring their intention to win at any cost.

Raising the Stakes

Judges Colin Fassnidge and Manu Feildel have set high expectations for the contestants, focusing on flavours that represent the essence of home cooking. According to Manu, this season’s contestants are bringing new recipes, fresh ingredients, and innovative techniques to the table. Colin has hinted at controversial dishes that will divide both the contestants and viewers across the nation.

The show’s signature ‘Instant Restaurant’ rounds will continue, with teams hosting and cooking in their own homes. In cases where contestants’ homes aren’t suitable for filming, alternative locations will be arranged by the production team.

As the competition unfolds, teams will face increasingly challenging tests, with the strongest contestants advancing to Kitchen HQ to compete for the grand prize of $100,000 and the coveted title of MKR champions.
