Bluey’s Big Play Embarks on Ambitious Global Tour with New Theatrical Production
Global Return of Beloved Children’s Show
Bluey’s Big Play is set for an extensive international tour throughout 2025 and 2026, with performances scheduled across Australia, UK, Ireland, Asia, South Africa, and Europe.
This theatrical adaptation features an original story crafted by Bluey creator Joe Brumm and includes new music composed by Bluey composer Joff Bush, created exclusively for the stage production.

Each performance runs for 50 minutes without an interval and is designed to be enjoyed by the whole family. The story follows Bluey and Bingo as they devise clever plans to get their Dad off his bean bag during a lazy Sunday afternoon.
The production brings the beloved characters to life through masterfully operated puppets and has received praise for its energy, warmth, and broad audience appeal. Based on the Emmy Award-winning series, it maintains the show’s signature charm and entertainment value.
International Success and Future Plans
The stage show has achieved remarkable success since its premiere in Bluey’s hometown of Brisbane, having performed 447 times across 65 venues, including prestigious locations such as the Sydney Opera House. The production has also graced iconic venues like the Hulu Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York, the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, and the Chicago Theatre.
In the UK, the tour will commence on 25 October 2025, visiting 32 venues and including a special festive season at London’s Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall. The previous tour received overwhelming enthusiasm from audiences across the UK and Ireland, with organizers describing the response as ‘nothing short of magical.’

After performances, select audience members can participate in interactive games like ‘Keepy Uppy,’ featuring air-filled balls and bubbles, though some venue sections will be excluded from these activities for safety reasons.
