Marvel Games and NetEase Games are set to launch Season 4: Heart of the Dragon for their acclaimed team-based PVP shooter Marvel Rivals, with the mighty Angela joining the roster as a playable hero on September 12, 2025.

Angela enters the game as a Vanguard hero, bringing her prowess as a celestial warrior who wields living Ichor, a substance she can transform into various weapons for both offensive and defensive purposes.

Her impressive arsenal includes abilities such as Spear Dive for aerial attacks, Shield Morph for defensive maneuvers, and Blade Split, which allows her to unleash devastating damage with dual swords while supporting her team.

Rich Lore and Character Background

As the firstborn child of Odin and Freyja, Angela’s story is one of destiny interrupted. Kidnapped during the Heaven War by Angels, she was raised by one of them who showed her kindness and gave her the name ‘Angela’ to mark her membership in their guild.

Season 4 Story Integration

The new season’s narrative, “The Heart of Heaven,” weaves Angela into a complex plot involving the Seven Capitals and Hela’s imprisonment in the An’Hay-Zhidi. Angela arrives seeking justice, demanding Hela be surrendered to her, though she faces resistance from the realm’s guardian.
