Sydney is set to receive its first new heavy rail station in more than a decade, with plans for development that will enable 10,000 new homes around Woollahra and Edgecliff stations. This represents a significant milestone in the city’s transport infrastructure development.

The NSW Government has demonstrated its commitment to rail infrastructure by allocating $1.9 billion over the next four years for the continued implementation of the improvement program. Current Operations and Service Updates

A new T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line train service now operates between Lidcombe and Bankstown, ensuring continued access to train services for passengers at Bankstown, Yagoona and Birrong. Regents Park serves as the main interchange point for passengers travelling to Bankstown, Liverpool and the Sydney CBD.
