Current Weather Situation

As of September 10, 2025, severe thunderstorms are continuing across central NSW and developing on the Central Coast, with a cold front attached to a low pressure system moving eastwards through central parts of the state.

The Bureau of Meteorology warns that severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds, large hailstones, and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in several areas. Key locations at risk include Orange, Bathurst, Yass, Young, Morisset, and Oberon.
