Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Finance Minister Andrzej Domański recently unveiled Poland’s economic development strategy for 2025 at the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The total investment value is expected to reach an unprecedented PLN 700 billion this year.

Economic Performance and Growth Projections

Poland’s economic outlook remains robust for 2025, with real GDP projected to increase by 3.3%. Private consumption continues to be the key driver of growth, supported by rising real disposable income. According to recent data, inflation has shown improvement, with the CPI dropping to 2.8% in August 2025, down from 3.1% in July 2025.

Infrastructure and Logistics Development

Transport and logistics have become increasingly important for Poland’s economy, currently accounting for 6% of GDP. The country has established itself as one of Europe’s key logistics hubs, competing with ports in both the North and Adriatic Seas. Polish ports currently handle 90% of the country’s exports and imports, with plans to triple their cargo capacity by 2030.

Poland recently held its presidential elections on June 1, 2025, resulting in a close victory for Karol Nawrocki, supported by the national-conservative Law and Justice Party (PiS), who won with 50.89% of the votes. Nawrocki’s campaign featured Eurosceptic positions, including proposals to withdraw from certain EU policy areas, specifically the European Green Deal and the Pact on Migration and Asylum.
